1. Name of the Society shall be : NORTH BENGAL TEA PRODUCERS WELFARE ASSOCIATION

2. The registered office of the Society shall be situated at : Goyal Plaza, 3rd Floor, Opp – Sachitra Hotel by lane, Sevoke Road, 2nd Mile,Siliguri – 734001

3. The Aims & Objects of the Society are as follows :-

a) To Cultivate and keep up a spirit of fellow feeling and united action among all members of the Association.

b) To do all welfare activities amongst the members including Public interest.

c) To create general fund to meet the expenses of the association and to raise fees and subscriptions from the members or donation from possible sources for the fund – 

d) To raise money for particular purpose or to implement the general fund of the Association.

e) To acquire, purchase, take on hire or lease lands or buildings to erect any building or other structures to accommodate the office or staff of the association or in connection with the association’s activities.

f) To accept, purchase, take on lease, exchange, hire or otherwise acquire for the use and betterment the Society.

g) To promote, organise, manage, or help any education or charitable institution or any institution formed for the advancement of Historical, Industrial or Scientific research and also to assist any association or body formed for the advancement of trade, commerce and industry.

h) To accept, donation, grants, presents and other offerings and to deal with the same for use of the association.

i) To bring out, encourage and develop the incentive and research facilities of the pupils and the teachers and to afford opportunity for research work in art, science and industrial undertakings.

j) To do all such other things as are incidental and conducive to the attainment of the above objects or any of them.

The income and properties of the association whatsoever derived or obtained shall be applied solely towards the promotion of the object of the association and no portion thereof shall be paid to or divided on any of the members by way of profits.
